A useful reference for scripting languages

Writing software from scratch gives you the flexibility, but can last very long and crazy in the process. Hypothesis, for example, that you write a word generator specifically for the creation of scripts.

If you want to use a general-purpose programming language like C + + or Pascal, you must first commands that write to create a simple word processor, then r to give additional instructions to write the word processing features essentialfor creating and formatting screenplays. As an option too crazy by everything themselves, offer many software own scripting languages. Preferably, as you write a whole word processor from scratch, you can use a current word generator (such as Word Perfect or Microsoft Word) and then use the text processing scripting language, the word generator do (produce, for example, want to do and format screenplays). A scripting language allows you to center the task youdo not meet over about irrelevant details.

But before jumping wholeheartedly into learning and the use of a scripting language, beware of the following problems:

Scripting languages are available on a particular program. If you linguistically adapt to a word processor by using a script that your software runs only on computers with processors that run specific word. If you personalize Microsoft Word software only on computers with Microsoft to run your work canWord, such as Windows and Mackintosh computers. Marketing and selling your program is much more difficult. To use your program should people buy or already own the program (word generator, spreadsheet, etc.) that you personalize. So if you create a traditional program for Word Perfect, Microsoft Word users can not use it.
